Barabbas is name we are familiar with if we've heard the Easter story at all. He was a convicted criminal - rebellion, murder and thievery were the charges. He was in jail, presumably awaiting execution, when Jesus was brought before Pilate. What was that day like for Barabbas? What did he do with his new freedom and second chance? The Bible doesn't tell us. I wonder how he felt that day?
This is an imagining of what could have happened the day Jesus was crucified from the perspective of Barabbas.
